What is the Fashion?

This term does not just define all the latest or the most popular or the most famous clothes. In reality this social phenomenon involves more importance. In some way fashion helps us to show who we are and depict our personality in the terms of visual information. In the way we choosing clothes we show our attitude to world and other people. It is also some kind of communication. We put some of our personality at everything, how we behave at different situations, what we eat and which style of clothes we choose at shops. All the parts of it build the main stream of fashion. But in spite of our personality every person at the world have something in common. Even if it’s the smallest thing. All over the world there are a lot of people who have the same tastes, who choose the same food and trousers of the same kind. There are a lot of traits which build the fashion of today.  Nowadays the global industrial revolution and the modern enhancements create trends which we call fashion. And the trends influence our life. All tends which influence us show which social group we belong to. It is called common replete identical life style. The most representative trend is wearing the latest and getting things which considered to be fashionable. Modern society create fashion on branding. There are not companies and manufactures anymore. Customers think in the terms of brands. Entrepreneurs are able to occupy niche and communicate to their target market offering people of a definite life style what they want and need, Or even create a demand by themselves. Watches, shoes, jewelry, sun glasses…. Fashion creates styles of everything we wear. The same is true t the attitude of cuisines. They have their own identity. French people and those who love French cuisine eat Coqauvan. Fans of Chenese food prefer chicken corn soup, etc. But you should not inhibit the true meaning of modern fashion. What is the essential sense of fashion? It is all about how society feels itself mentally. Fake fashion has not life. There is not any chances to survive for it. People and societies create fashion and make it the standard of life. That’s why modern trends represent the condition of society and carry what we call an environment. Fashion is the representative of modern ethics also. If you do not like the modern fashion you do not like the condition of modern society.

With a know how, some dow, n a show to run, we’re to stay

Without strings attached, they run the show with strings and thongs

With strings attached, we suit in stripes and straps

Wake up with the make up, take-away make-up by the drive-in

From pedicures to manicures to ‘womancures’ all while driving

Handbags got paint and polish, to brush and to polish

From head to toe, it’s all sparkling, for a dent there is a tow

For a friend or a foe, it’s all for a sparkling show

For a clipped toe, there is an open shoe, with a show

With bangles, earrings, necklaces, a ring and bling

With a dangle, a shake, a sway, a click and cling

With a handle, and a chain, and another, am zing

A tattoo, mascara, and a tan, am think, am zinc’d

NEW GIRL IN CITY

Hello people !

Firstly, a very Happy Easter to y’all and stay blessed :)

So, today’s post is my review for Globus Spring/Summer’14 collection.

Since it’s that time of the year where your daily wardrobe goes for a transition from winter to summer plus the new year calls for its own trends, you can’t help it and you just gotta shop. So just like anyone else I too had been going for a few shopping trips lately, Delhi and here in Hyderabad.

I was in PACIFIC MALL  yesterday and oh boy! there were just so many things I loved !

For starters, there’s lot of stripes, monochromes, aztec and maxi things (bang on the latest trend). I’d say my favourite was the stripes and monochrome section :)

Furthermore, there were lot of pretty floral dresses and cute-sy skirts and I had a hard time refraining myself to not get them all. And accessories, yes, from metallic cuffs to statement neck-pieces to pretty headbands and earrings, they had it all. I am not much of accessory person (more like a minimal accessory person) but there were lot of things I had the love-at-first-sight thing going on for :D

There were a couple of things I tried and styled from Globus. Following are the pics of the outfits I tried and how I styled them.

This monochrome striped dress is perfect for a Friday evening with friends, I teamed it with bright pink pumps to break the monotony (aren’t they cute as a button !)

This is more of a college-girl look I came up with. Comfort plus style !

The shoe collection was also pretty good. Trendy and comfortable to walk around in.

This has to be my favourite look. I totally loved the double slit maxi skirt with pleated details. I paired it with a green sheer blouse and gold tone accessories, a cuff, tribal inspired tassels neck-piece and a metallic belt. A better look at the accessories:

Ok, I am little partial to comfortable and relaxed attire, hence the maxi-dress. It’s perfect for a shopping trip or even for a vacation. Paired it with a bright satchel here !

Another favourite look, for a glam evening or a special date. A maxi gown with aztec side details. Styled it with statement earrings, chain belt, metal bangles and a box clutch.
